Why do people have a common belief that the heart is located on left side of the chest?

The heart is centrally located in the chest but a bit tilted towards the left.Thus, it gives us the feeling that the heart is located in the left

it is believed so because the apex of the heart is roughly triangular in shape and is pointed to the left side and and it is present between the lungs and above the diaphragm during working the contraction of the heart is more powerful at this end giving us a feeling that it is present towards the left......
