In early times people don't have water facilities as much we have now , they need to go 1 or 2 kms far to get water from wells .

Some areas are not supplied with proper drinking water by the goverment ,as there is a lot of corruption in India . But there are only dirty, polluted nalla so they cannot drink that water so they make their way to the nearest river of a ground water pump.
