Why do people living in coastal regions have their windows facing the sea ?

People living near coastal regions have their windows facing towards sea because during daytime the 'Sea Breeze' occurs which brings the cool winds of seas to the land. Windows provide the entrance of these winds in the houses making the houses cool.
