In urban areas more employment opportunities are available due to industrial and service sector. So in search of job or work, people migrate to urban areas from rural areas.

• More facilities:

In urban there are more facilities of education, hospital etc. So lack of such facilities in rural areas make people migrate from rural areas to urban areas.

• Stagnation of agriculture sector

Agriculture sector has not providing much returns to farmers in rural areas. So in search of more income, people move from rural areas to urban areas.
