Why do people want peacefully or independent in democracy ? Is there any role of press to make democracy better ?

A democracy is meant to be peaceful and calm. Everyone chooses their own leader and if he or she is not able to meet expectations the country falls down. Press has a major role. Press has the ability to change their news to a particular feeling, such as a negative crime can be good in some ways- so the press has the power to portray the country in such a way where people are happy and at the same time the country is well known and growing like anything.
