Pigs have less sweat pores on their bodies. during high temperature days, the temperature of pig's body increases.
Sweating mechanism controls body temperature. But as pigs have less sweat pores, the process of evaporation does not takes place. So, pigs toil in the mud to reduce the internal body temperature.
