Why do places near the equator have a hot climate?

Answer:

It is because the Sun rays fall directly on the equator, which makes it the hottest .Other places on the Earth don't recieve direct sunlight, but the equator has sunlight vertically falling on it making it hot.

beacuse the places near the equator are near to the sun as compared to the places in the northern and southern region's thats is why sunrays fall on the equator in large amount and thus the temp is increased
