Why do plant and animal posses different type of tissue because plant need are complete different from animals because :
plants are stationary who need tissues which are made up of dead cell for mechanical support. They transportation tissues which provide water and minerals from soil. They have to perform photosynthesis which need specific tissue and they are clean of environment in which they take CO2 so they need tissue that provide surface to exchange of gases.
On the other hand, animal are motile who move place to place for the search of shelter, mates, food and water, so they tissue that provide large amounts of energy. And for digestion, respiration, inhalation, exhalation, transportation of blood, response to stimuli, they required different types of tissue.
