The plant cells have cell wall along with cell membrane.This cell wall is made up of cellulose.It acts a protective layer of plant cells.

Plant Cells have additional layer surrounding the cell membrane called cell wall.Cell wall is rigid .thus,it gives rigidity to plant cell and protect also.
