Why do plant make carbohydrates for energy even though, the cells (mitochondria) is already producing ATP?!?!

Look.ATP is the energy produced by mitochondria for the functioning of the cell . The plants need carbohydrates even though they have ATP as Carbohydrates  since the tissues need energy also
