because they only have to make their food thats why plants have very low energy

plants do not walk as they are stationary.
they are half consisted of dead cells have slow transport systems.
and animals r much complex than plants like they have nervous system, digestive system which need large amount of energy to carry out different function, so their energy requirements are higher than plants.
