Why do plants haveore stomata on the under surface of plants?

plants have stomata because , to exchange the gases. plants need carbon dioxide which is essential for photosynthesis process. and we need oxgyen for breathing. so , plants contain oxgyen that is released while photosynthesis process. and the stomata are the openings of plant that Helps in ex change of gases.
