why do plants need an oxygen carrier like the humans in whom oxygen is carried by haemoglobin

There is no need of of an oxygen carrier in plants because plants synthesise oxygen during photosynthesis and they consume oxygen during respiration. All parts of plants perform respiration and gets oxygen directly. So, they do not need an additional carrier to transport oxygen.
