As we know that plants can prepare their own food by the process of photosynthesis , and for this , they need a green coloured pigment called CHLOROPHYLL.

However , some plants do not have this green coloured pigment (chlorophyll) and hence , they cannot make their own food .. these plants are also known as CARNIVORES PLANTS.

These plants are not able to make their own food but then also...... they need food to be alive.

these type of plants ( CARNIVORES PLANTS ) then START to take their NUTRITION and NOURISHMENT from eating animals.

they ordinarily eat insects like ANTS , BEES , HOSEFLIES etc.

examples : VENUS FLYTRAP.

u can also see videos related to CARNIVORES PLANTS on " you tube " .
