Why do plates move?a short notes on this.

The plates move because of the movement of molten magma inside the earth.The Molten magma moves in a circular manner.This resulted in 
earthquakes.

the plates fully known as lithosphereick plates or continental plates move because of the molten magma present inside the earth .this caused many changes on the surface of the earth [first when the the earth was formed there was one continent made from all the continents that are now this continment was know as super continent ] the movement of magma is slow most of the times but some times it is not and can cause earthquakes and volcanoes
