Why do political parties not distribute enough tickets to women in the election?

Political parties do not distribute enough tickets to women in the election because of gender discrimination that's prevalent in our society.

According to the political parties, women do not have sufficient money to contest elections,and hence they are not allowed into politics.

Inspite of a certain percentage of reservation for women, the political parties do not allow women candidates.

It is also observed that the very few women who are allowed are related to the ministers in some way or the other.
