Why do regions near equator have high temperature?

Because they receive direct Ray's of the Sun.
As u can see in the picture that north and south poles receive slanting sunrays.
This means that a certain amount of light and heat is scattered over a large area.
While regions near the equator receive vertical sunrays.
This means that the same amount of light and heat are concentrated over a small area.
This is why equatorial regions have higher temperature than and polar regions.

Because the sunlight rays directly on equator that's why the region near equator have a high temprature
