why do regions on either side of equator is highest temperature....??????.

the hottest temperatures on earth are found near equator. this is coz the sun shine directly on it.as u move further away frm the equator towards the poles,less sun is recieved during the year and the temperature become colder.

Because the equator is closer to the sun. ... Because the sun's rays hit the earth's surface at a higher angle at the equator
