the female reproductive gamete has 23 and male has 23 which after fusion becomes 46 chromosones

Because All had 23 chromosome left after meiosis and miotic division takes place in a fertilized cell thus only 23 chromosome left ......
male.gamet + female.gametes= Zygote
23. + 23. = 46
after miotic division ( reduction division )
