hey dear,,here is your answer rhizobium generally fixes nitrogen gas into solid nitrogen compound which falls down into the soil and is utilized by the leguminous plants to prepare proteins which you eat in dal<pulses> and in return plant provides the good bacteria with food and shelter<which is the need of everybody>
