Why do ruminants like cows and buffaloes eat their food hurriedly and then sit restfully to digest it properly

because they have a part called ruman inside their body in which when they eat their food is get stored actually it is half eaten and is called cud and when they sit restfully to digested properly then they just take it in their mouth again and then completely chew it then it goes into the stomach that is how the digest the food properly

The Ruminants such as cows and buffalos need a huge amount of energy for theri body which they get from the food.they take as much as food they can so they can eat it later without any problem
