why do salt acid and caustic soda make more conductive to electricity ​

Answer:

Conductivity is due to ions present in a solution. Salt, acids and soda gives out ions when dissolved in water.

Like salt( table salt) releases Na+ and Cl- ions in water which are responsible for its increased conductivity.

Acids release H+ which increases conductivity hugely.

Caustic soda (NaOH) release Na+ and OH- ions. OH- ions, just like H+ increases conductivity hugely..
