Answer:

Sea water has more density than fresh water because of its high salt content. This is why ship sinks to greater depth in fresh water than in sea water. information: The dead sea has a high salt content and who ever falls into it can float. That is mare is Density of liquid, the more is buoyant force.

Explanation:

The closer the total density of the ship is to the density of the same volume of water, the greater the amount of the ship that will be in the water. If the average density of the ship is ever greater than the density of water, then the ship will sink beneath the surface of the water

Question

why do ship sink deeper in freshwater than in open sea ?

Answer

The sea water contains lot of salt compared to the freshwater .

so this makes the sea more dense than the freshwater the increasing intensity increases the the force of water applied to the sea by the water body .

Does increasing the density let the the ship to float very easily Anda in freshwater because of less density the ship do not float more easily .

This is only the reason which has has to know that we can't float a big giant ship in the river like Ganga because their pure water.
