Why do shopkeepers preferto keep biscuits,sweets and other eatables in transparent containers?

It keep in container as it is not spoil by insects
the containers are transparent because customers can see and like to purchase it even they came to buy other things.

the shopkeeper prefer to keep biscuit , sweets and other estable in transparent container because we know that in the transparent material light can pass easily
so we can watch easily anything
