hey there

when the light of sun is refracted from the sky it gets scattered in many colours as the wavelength of blue colour is more as compared to any other colour thats why it is seen to our eyes

Answer:

The sky appear us blue because of dispersion of light. The light consists of seven component's Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red. In this the 4 has high wavelength where as rest 2 doesn't show as the have very less wavelength and the couldn't reach her eyes. But we can see blue sky as blue light have wavelength that our could see. thus we see blue sky. And it's also been observed that the passengers flying at high altitude the see the sky dark.
