Why do so few young people today enjoy reading ? Support your views with example from your own expierence

Nowadays people, usually Youngers enjoy using mobile phones and are busy on internet and games also and that's why only few people enjoy reading books and novels.

Due to technological developments, youth today are getting more and more addicted to modern day gadgets. Due to this, they are getting little time for and pleasure from reading. Hence, reading as a hobby is becoming more defunct day by day.
When I was born, there were scarcely any electronic gadgets in our house. So naturally I took to reading. Even today I am spellbound by the power and magic books have over me. However plenty of gadgets were around when my brother, eight years younger, was born. He was given mobile phones to keep him quiet. The habit of reading was never inculcated in him. Now he is having a great lot of difficulty in getting over this habit of him.
