no this statement is wrong.. solids diffuse with each other but they take along time as their force of attraction is very strong nd kinetic energy is very less .. for eg. two.metals lest undisturbed for years they both collide with each other..

Because the solids are held together by strong atomic bonds and do not diffuse with another solid
