Why do solids have definite shape and volume whereas liquids have a definite volume but no definite shape......·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·.

Answer:

Solids have a property by which they hold their shape therefore they have a definite shape whereas liquid cannot hold their shape they have a tendency to flow. Hence liquid do not have a definite shape but a fixed volume.
