why do solids, liquids have different properties related to shape and volume?

hey mate here is your ans.

In liquids molecules are pretty close to each other. The molecules does not have lot of space between them.
Liquids have fixed volume but no fixed shape.They have fixed volume but they do not have fixed or definite shape.

solid and liquids have differently spaced molecules thus solids are hard as they have high density and on the other hand liquids have low density comparing to solids
