Why do some adults dismiss comics as unsuitable /inappropriate texts for young children? Do you agree with them? Why/ why not?

Explanation:

Comics have often been dismissed and approached cautiously by both schools and libraries as their content has often been viewed as being controversial. The comics are seen as a medium of undermining literacy and morality by adults. There is a perception that comics only posses simplistic and childish stories, thus not worth someone's time. Notably, some adults view comics as "low culture".  I would, however, disagree with this negative view, which is inaccurate as it makes material aimed at adults seem more shocking. The thinking is that there is an age where one "grows out" of reading comic books. The point is that there is nothing shameful about reading comic books.
