WHY SOME OF THEM CAN'T BE RECYCLE..

anything in black bags can't be recycled for the simple reason that the collectors can't see what it is in the bag and we can't risk losing a whole truck load of recyclables because of contamination. Shredded paper - shredded paper cannot be processed at the sorting plant and damages the sorting equipment.

Answer:

Explanation:The reason some materials can be recycled and others can’t be, is because the cost of recycled material is higher than the price of a new material.”

A big factor in the price of recycling something is what made that product originally. Newspapers and food cans are easily, cheaply recycled because they’re not much more than the material they were made with – wood pulp and steel. But something like a rubber tire has gone through a chemical process in its manufacture, and it’s nearly impossible to convert it back to rubbed.
