When the population of some animals get reduce day by day it goes extinct .
And lots of animals flourished also day by day...

how does habitat destruction affect the abudance of living organism
when any of the organism loses their habitat then they need to have a home or resident
and when they not able to get it then slowly they starting to disappears and starting towards extinction.
and due to this loses evidence of living organism
