EXPLANATION:

Swimming is an art to balance your body in water against the force which is exerted by water on our body and the weight which is exerted on water. It is not so easy to keep this balance therefore people use floaters in swimming pools in early days of learning.

These floaters are filled with air that is lighter than air therefore it allows to float over the surface on water. Hence with the help of floaters, people can floats not sink in water.
