light from the stars travel towards earth . it can easily move in straight line , but it starts travelling through the earth's atmosphere it gets bounced around in different directions by the particles in the air .
stars twinkle when we see from earth because we are viewing them through thickly erst of turbulent air in the earth's atmosphere.
