Hello Frnd

What is star ?

A star is a shpehrical shape of mixed gases
which consists helium and hydrogen mostly. They are mixed due to their own Gravitational force. Stars are an astronomical object which we see in the sky, it has a very large size and high temperature as well.

Why do stars twinkle ?

Stars are very far from us and it needs many lighte years to reach them. In reality stars do not twinkle. It's true that when we look in the sky it seems twinkling but in reality it do not twinkle.

it happens because star are light years ahead from us and the light of stars come to us by crossing many layers. When it comes to our earth's atmosphere it has to pass many layers of our atmosphere like Exosphere etc.

Our Sun is also a star. it is the nearest star to us.

hope it helps

Explanation:

Stars twinkle due to atmospheric refraction of starlight. As the stars are very far away, they behave as almost point sources of light. A son account of atmospheric refraction, the path of rays of light coming from the star goes on varying slightly, the apparent position of the star fluctuates and the amount of starlight entering the eye flickers. So, sometimes, the star appears brighter and at some other time, fainter. Thus, the stars twinkle.
