The reason for the appearance of stars like twinkling :

The twinkling of stars is due to atmospheric refraction of starlight the starlight on entering the earth's atmosphere undergoes refraction continuously before it reaches the earth the atmospheric refraction occurs in a medium of gradually changing refractive index Change the atmosphere Bren starlight towards the normal the Apparent position of the star is slightly different from its actual position the star appears slightly higher than its actual position when viewed near the Horizon further the Apparent position of star is not stationary but keeps on changing slightly since the physical conditions of the earth's atmosphere not stationary since the star are very distant the approximate. CZ sources of light at the path of rays of light coming from the stars goes on wearing slightly the Apparent position of the star fluctuates and the amount of star lightning entering the eye flickers the star sometimes appears brighter and at some other time painter which is due to the twinkling effect .

Answer:-

➡Stars do not really twinkle, they just appear to twinkle when seen from the surface of Earth.

➡The stars twinkle in the night sky because of the effects of our atmosphere.

➡When starlight enters our atmosphere it is affected by winds in the atmosphere and by areas with different temperatures and densities.
