The stars twinkle in the night sky because of the effects of our atmosphere. When starlight enters our atmosphere it is affected by winds in the atmosphere and by areas with different temperatures and densities. This causes the light from the star to twinkle when seen from the ground.

Here's your answer! ❤

Stars twinkle in night because,

In our earth's atmosphere there are many layers of air, As you know the warm air rises up and air near that area rushes to get its place, because of this the wind becomes, if the wind blows in night, the medium through we are seeing the stars and the medium through the light of stars is coming gets distracted, and because of distraction, the air refracts the light of star and makes the star to twinkle!

Hope it helps! ☺✌
