The chemical process in which a substance reacts with oxygen to give off heat is called combustion. Substances that undergo combustion are called combustible substances.

Burning means combustion. A chemical process.to start a combustion we need 3 things. 1 Fuel 2 oxygen 3 ignition temperature…Oxyegen is available in the air..So if some combustible matter gets ignition temperature it starts fire.
