Why do the children call Pushpa Mamu'?

In 2005, when the then 21-year-old Pushpa Basnet met young children within Nepal's prison walls, she decided to help them. Basnet went on to start an early childhood centre to give those kids a new home and has since helped more than 500 children. Many of those children see her as their own mother and call her "Mamu".
