Why do the children of the age group of between 11 to 24 or more want some romantic relationship or something like this? It is the age for studying then why do they waste thier time? What is the psychology behind it?

Children between 11 to 24 or more want some romantic relationship or something is you can say, Normal. Scientifically, it would be the hormones but psychologically it maybe any trait of that person that just kind of attracts you. You in your mind try to avoid that person at a point but then you can't actually resist them. Not every attraction is love or liking, it might be just an infactuation, but honestly at that stage when someone tries to as much deny your thoughts or feelings towards someone you do not feel good.
As for romantic feelings, maybe its like everything you've seen in movies or novels is playing in your mind and you unknowing start developing some sort of liking. You can't say its wasting of time, because sometimes it actually worth it. So you can say Not every Infactuation is Love nor every Love is Infactuation.
The mind set behind it is just knowing that person to the fullest, keeping that person forever and not losing them for anything- its just the things that come to your mind.
