Why do the colour and solution of copper sulphate change when we take a solution of copper sulphate in a breaker n put an iron nail in it

As the reactivity of iron is more than is more than copper therefore iron displaces copper from its solution forming iron sulphate and changing the colour of the pale green from blue with brownish red deposit over iron nail
