the courtiers call the happy prience" happy pri nce" because when he was alive he was in life he gets whatever he wants and sorrow was not allowed to enter in the palace he was rich satisfied with life ,but when he died he can see all poverty ,helpless people arround his City from the top so he feels bad for not able to see his people happy and can't help , so he is actually sad
