Hi mate, here’s your answer
All the animals grouped under the phyla Pisces, Reptila, amphibia are cold blooded animals. Their body is unable to regulate the body temperature, i.e their body temperature changes with the temperature in surroundings. So, when the level of temperature rises, the desert snakes burrow the sand and live underneath to cool themselves.
