why do the dinosaurs became extinct ? If you know the reason then why do the sparrows are listed in endangered species?

The period in which dinosaurs are existing is the jurassic period. But in that time several cosmotic collision occurring in the universe for which some product of them fall in the earth as droplets. Due to which dinosaurs were unable to survive due to their size. As a result they were extinct. But in case of Sparrow, due to the lack of variations with time for survived with nature as well as some genetic disturbances lead them to endangered species.
