why do the dishes of wood stoves only get the soot and why not LPG gas stove gets soot??

As the LPG is C2H5OH which is ethanol and doesn't produces any sooty smoke. Also wood has inside some water vapor which when burns produces sooty flames while LPG not, because it has a clean gas.

As wood contain unsaturated particle whereas LPG cylinder does not .Hence it burns with soot but LPG does not
