Why do the gases diffuse but not solid

Solids do not diffuse while gases due because gases posses high speed; large dpaces between particles and greater kinetic energy than solids.

Becz of their arrangement of particles.In solids kinetic energy is low and intermolecular force is more .so solids do not diffuse .but gases have high kinetic energy and intermolecular force is less as compare to solids and liquids .so they diffuse.
