This is because the intermolecular foce of attraction is very less in gas and molecules when heated start vibrating more and gain more space thus they expand more

Answer:

This happens because solids have more intermolecular force of attraction than that of gases. So when providing 1 degree C of temperature to gases they readily expand more than solids
