A survey was conducted recently regarding the ground level water and the result of the survey was, the level of the ground water was reduced a lot when compared to previous reports. There will be no ground water in future and our country will be paying more to buy water. Already we are fighting for water with other state and this is going to be the next problem. In many areas, ground water is not at all good and people are not even using that water for their daily work. The failure of the monsoon is one of the reason of the decreased ground water level

The uppermost reason and root cause of it is Global warming. Due to global warming the natural cycle has changed totally. The population increasing in India is main factor for it. As population is increasing people are cutting trees for fulfilling their needs of shelter and food. Also as mentioned in above responses there are no preventive measures for it. People are building houses, digging bore-wells, cutting tress but no preventive measure of planting more trees, careful use of resources of water.
As Global warming is increasing it is resulting into disturbed climate and natural cycle. The Summer is become more hotter, Winter is become more colder but rainy season is changed a lot. The percentage of rain is decreasing year by year. Few regions where it used to rain heavily, get less rain. The region where there used to rare rain get more rain. So the climate is collapsed totally which is resulting into decrease in ground level of water.
It is needed to act by every personnel to take care and take preventive measure to avoid more loss in future. The tings which we can do are:
1. Plant more and more trees.
2. Use of water resources with care and avoiding wastage of it.
3. Helping government to inform bout damage in water resources and wastage of it.
4. Rain water harvesting.
5. Awareness program on regular basis.
6. Taking preventive measure against Pollution and population.
