Answer:- India has different climate in North and South because in North ,the Himalayas prevent the bitter cold from Siberia hence providing a moderate or continental type of climate as it is far away from the sea.
While in South , which is situated near the sea so the differential heating of land takes place due to which it experiences neither hot nor too cold I.e equable or maritime type of climate .
