Explained:- Well in India the Himalayan plate boundary runs straight through the country. The Himalayan plate boundary is a very dangerous plate boundary that causes many severe earthquakes. Although not all the big earthquakes in India are from the Himalayan plate boundary. Since the Himalayan plate boundary is always moving India moves with it since its on the same plate thats getting pulled upward on the Himalayan plate boundary. So as India is moving all the faults get disturbed causing the to break or slip. And until the Himalayan plate boundary stops moving,which is very improbable,the faults will keep getting disturbed and India will keep getting predominantly large earthquakes.
